I honestly think it is unfair to not let those who adore McCain to post in the Election Center (which is now and seems to always have been the most popular forum.

MOST of us learned more about our respective favorites by reading to refute what someone from the other side posted. It has been a GREAT learning process! You run the risk of placing us all in a rut like the HillaryClintonForum when you do just what Murray did over there----marginalize or squelch dissent!

But---that's just my opinion---- and I don't have the hypersensitivities of some of the others here ----in case you hadn't noticed.

You started PG with a rule that said that this board was not the place for those who could not hold their own. Do you really want to change that? Why?

No, no, no...Not changing the name of the site, silly. Changing the 'Election Center 2008' title.

And, on a side note:

Well...how about leaving the Center forum as is and just starting a 'Obama '08' section of the board?

Yeah, yeah, I realize I just flip-flopped, but I'm entitled when a better argument comes along.

It is - but it's "separate but equal" in that there are Conservative forums here too.

But this is not a human rights matter like segregation by race is.

It's a private message board, with opportunities for all types of thought.

Yeah well maybe we need to recruit some more conservatives to come here to balance things out (unless Eric has a quota on conservatives here....do you know if he does)?
