Yes. What he said.
But I assume those of us who believe Mr. McCain's election would be
a disaster can frequent the "conservative" forum in order to accomplish
what Mr. Richterscale describes, correct?

so i can't discuss foreign policy, unless it's pro-Obama?
does that mean it has to go into the conservative forum?

How about if I criticize both McCain AND Obama?

I guess I am not being clear and I apologize for that. Yes, all discussion about things republicans and democrats can still be discussed, issues, policies etc. The the main point is that this forum will not be a pro McCain/republican forum.

After reading this thread and finally knowing what you're trying to do with this forum, Evil Monkey, let me say: Sweet.

got it. I'm ok with this, if you must praise McCain - without a fair contrasting by policy or issues -
then take it to the conservative p.o.v. forums.

No!!! Political Groove is a GREAT name, imo!

The board is in a democratic liberal groove---presently, but it could be that a wave of repukes come in and shake things up!

I honestly think that what you have done here is great! I really wish that you weren't second guessing yourself on any of this.

McCain is going to be the focus as soon as Hillary ACTUALLY removes herself from the picture.

I honestly think it is unfair to not let those who adore McCain to post in the Election Center (which is now and seems to always have been the most popular forum.

I doesn't seem very realistic.

Look------

MOST of us learned more about our respective favorites by reading to refute what someone from the other side posted. It has been a GREAT learning process! You run the risk of placing us all in a rut like the HillaryClintonForum when you do just what Murray did over there----marginalize or squelch dissent!

But---that's just my opinion---- and I don't have the hypersensitivities of some of the others here ----in case you hadn't noticed.

You started PG with a rule that said that this board was not the place for those who could not hold their own. Do you really want to change that? Why?

I am conflicted. I am a conservative and like McCain's conservative views but I support Obama, but do not necessarily many of his ultra left positions.

I guess I will just just go back and forth. This reminds me of black communities and white communities in America. We can kind of interact at work but we go separate ways in going home.

I think it is going to be very lonely over there in the Conservatives part of town.
