no quotas - but there are only a few, who come around now and then.

I agree. I never thought of the Conservatives forum as a place just for supporters of the Republican Party (though perhaps it is)....

There is no absolutist forum. I'm sure Obama welcomes conservative points of view, when valid.

Well I dont mind spending more time in the area where Eric wants to wall us off. I feel comfortable there. Let the liberals have their little Kool-Aid party.

Well Eric has put a railroad track right through the middle of Political Groove. This is why I am nonpartisan. This sort of myopia is damaging to the fabric of our precious democracy.

But I am a conservative Democratic. I guess that is kind of being like a shemale now on this forum.

I honestly think that what you have done here is great! I really wish that you weren't second guessing yourself on any of this.

McCain is going to be the focus as soon as Hillary ACTUALLY removes herself from the picture.

I honestly think it is unfair to not let those who adore McCain to post in the Election Center (which is now and seems to always have been the most popular forum.

I doesn't seem very realistic.

Look------

MOST of us learned more about our respective favorites by reading to refute what someone from the other side posted. It has been a GREAT learning process! You run the risk of placing us all in a rut like the HillaryClintonForum when you do just what Murray did over there----marginalize or squelch dissent!

But---that's just my opinion---- and I don't have the hypersensitivities of some of the others here ----in case you hadn't noticed.

You started PG with a rule that said that this board was not the place for those who could not hold their own. Do you really want to change that? Why?
Eric has never actualy stopped anyone from posting a dissenting opinion and i believe he has said he would not do so now. It sounds to me like what he wants is to avoid becoming one sided yet take a stand that this is a Democratic Forum simply to avoid Republicans in mass coming over here....perhaps even from HCF to wreck havoc.

Perhaps the name change is more than people are willing to go though.
