Lightbulb I Would Vote for Obama IF.....

I'd vote for Mr. Obama IF he selects a republican to run as his Vice President. I read an op ed in the paper yesterday that got me thinking about it. Wouldn't that be a marvelous way of demonstrating that bipartisianism CAN work in Washington DC?

I can get on board with that to an extent. But......

Hagel...YES! (despite his anti choice views)
Lindsey Graham ....... HELL NO!!

Joe Lieberman----I'd take Hillary before him!

I could support a Obama/Hagel ticket. I've even got my husband, a staunch conservative (the real kind) considering it.

BTW, Lindsey Graham makes me want to hurl. Liberman is okay.

We need to balance out Obama's extreme leftist policies with some republican good sense. Smaller government, reduced spending, and making tax cuts permanent. Also, and this is a biggie, not punishing business by seizing their profits.

The loyalty thing I can well understand. That's why I can't abide voting for McCain....he's shafted us time and time again.

Regardless RK, I think Mr. Obama will be our next president.
