I am sure that JD and some of the other former Hillary folks would like to think that their help is needed to strategize.

It is not.

What we on the Obama teams have come to grips with is that there are SEVERAL campaigns going on, on several different levels.

These include:

Obama's campaigns run via his staff and advisors
Campaigns FOR Obama run by a variety of volunteer groups

EVERYONE's time is better spent focusing on our campaigns.

Obama's teams are his business (and our problem from time to time).

To give you an idea of the SORT of campaigns you can join or start.

There is a method to our maddness.

I will not post here how this works but those who are interested can pm me and I can suggest how you may get involved in the MULTIPLICITY of campaigns that are taking place as you read this.

Wright will continue to be a HUGE issue in this campaign (as will all the rest of the disinformation the Hillho's have pushed).

There are ways that these issues are being dealt with daily.

Got up at 6 and read my published article in a major newspaper. Chilled with Nadal kicking Federer at the French Open. Took a nice 2 hour nap and now here to school the naive libs.

But they will get 527's coverage ( ads) - not from the campaigns.
It will be used as a question of his judgement.
The campaign will move on to the issues -there are stark contrasts between the candidates.

Obama has a Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan teflon quality though. Maybe overkill will work to his benefit.

It always did for Marion Barry. That is why even though he is an ex-con, he is a city councilman. If he ran for mayor again he would win.

And he would win because everything would be thrown at him and people rebel against it and support him anyway. Obama has some of this.

that is a grotesquely inaccurate comparison.

Barry has been reelected by an african american electorate for a zillion reasons that have NOTHING to do with any teflon quality. It is a risk/benefit paradigm in which he has been thought to benefit his constituency more than the risks.

DC is a UNIQUE electorate for many reasons.

The Dems did jack shit to Clarence Thomas ---- the repukes put the info out there.

AND frankly, Thomas ---who is a sexual deviant----sexually harassed women a hell of a lot less than you do!

It is the cleanest strategy because it puts doubt in the minds of the suburbanites who fear their own kids exposure to drugs. I have a 16 year old and I know it is waiting for him out there. Its just how you deal with it. Unfortunately, not everyone goes on to be accomplished like Obama.

Bush was right to not talk about it or it would have been beaten to death.
