I think he made a brilliant move in banning pac and lobbyist money, and challenging McCain to do the same.

These were undoubtedly cherry picked, but in a sound bite society, that can be enough.

If you remember back 4 years, I think Kerry expected the media to tell the public the swift boat ads weren't true. The media didn't.

It may well be that, because it came up so much in the primary that it will be viewed as "old news" in the general.

Make no mistake that the voters will be blasted with Obama not holding his hand on his heart in that photo, Rev. Wright, the photo of him in muslim garb, etc...

the campaign will make a mistake if they expect the media to defend him against doctored or dishonest photos, etc.

I get at least one email a week telling me something about Obama, or with a photo of him (most recently the one where he's holding the phone backwards), and I simply respond with.

"I don't think this true. Do you?"

If it's one I KNOW isn't true: "This is not true."

By voting for dems.

This is a strange comment you make. Obama keeps telling us that we are the force of change.

What does he think I can do that you don't think I can do?

My state generally elects dems anyway, but some of those states where the senate or house race is close, I think it's a good idea to convince people to vote for the the dems with Obama, rather than splitting their vote and creating more gridlock.

As a single person, I can write letters to the editor, no?

Will it help? Maybe not, but it's got a better chance than not writing them, no?
