For the life of me I can't think of a VP that would help McCain...I would say a true conservative like Ron Paul might earn him some independents, but he is hated on the right...a R in the cast of Bush or other neo-cons would help motivate the right, but cost independents....

Really he hurt himself when he sold out on who is was and tried to play both sides...he used to appeal to moderates....but he lost their trust and those farther right don't really like him either....

pretty much he's screwed.

i'll give you a couple of reasons why obama supporters CARE!

1) obama supporters are being asked to help her pay off the largest campaign debt in history- which she irresponsibly ran up in HER completely ill-advised and futile attempt to SMEAR him, make him unelectable, and steal the nomination...

2) clinton supporters attack him with COMPLETELY FALSE AND IGNORANT BULLSHIT - like he's a muslim, etc. which you not only condone, but spread, like number 3 in this list.

3) OBAMA isn't USING rhetoric against clinton. he's had NOTHING but wonderful things to say about her for at least a month. he spews compliments on her - repeatedly... and what he gets in return from people like you is absolute CRAP! to accuse him of rhetoric in this regard is not only untrue, it's incredibly petty and childish!
