WEll you get the measure of a person by talking to them directly. You can pick up on the type they are pretty quickly by the way they treat you and respond to your inquiries.

But Eman is astute enough to know when a politician is lying to him. But to look a person in the eye and chat with them briefly gives you an idea of what type of person you are dealing with. Now politicians are practiced at being nice to people because that is their business, but some politicians are straight up asshole opportunists and do not hide it.
