What would Obama do?

Obama believes very strongly in censorship as he has stated such on many occassions. He feels no one should be able to discuss statements his wife has made. He feels no one should be able to discuss what his religious mentor says or how this might have influenced his views over the last 20 years. Do we see a pattern here? Obama not only would appreciate the way this board is run but he would encourage even more strict censorship. Obama is no more than an immature "fad" that will pass with time so don't be so overwhelmed with his speeches and try to reason out what he says.

and it's not that Obama doesn't want them discussed, they're just not relevant.

Eric dug himself into a hole on censorship. Instead of admitting he was wrong, he kept on digging. These days, he doesn't want to seem like a 'flip-flopper'. As if flip-flopping is always bad to do, even when you were initially incorrect and you simply corrected the mistake.

Typical Bush-thinking - never admit you're wrong, even when you're wrong. Better to commit suicide, and drag the whole world with you, than simply admit you were wrong. Nothing could be worse than looking like a 'flip-flopper'. I know, all throughout school, even when I said 0+0=52, I refused to flip-flop. Course, Bush Americans are so dumb, they voted for the moron who got all the answers wrong, but showed resolve in failure.

Obama might be young and inexperienced, but he's perfectly capable of learning the job within the coming months.

Exactly where and when did he say he was a fan of censorship? You worry me, I get the feeling that some people believe that if they think something, it becomes true, and becomes indisputable fact if they type it on some message board.

How is Eric censoring anyone? He asked that conservatives post in the conservative thread and not the Election Center.

I'm sure if there is some modicum of honest debate going on, unlike the OP above, he would have no problem leaving it up in this section. What Eric does not want, in my opinion, is people like born....fighting the urge...bornright...coming in here and posting the usual asinine comments.

Born does not link anything. He doesn't back up anything he says, unless it's with 'an article I read a couple months ago', and again, no links.

All in all, if you're a conservative and you're posting idiotic things like the OP up top, well, prepare to be moved.

bornright, you will note that you can see the board as you normally do only difference is you can only post in the "Slammer" forum that you see at the bottom of the site.

We don't have enough of these threads in feedback but I am going to go ahead and close this one up anyway.
