Bill Clinton needs to shut the hell up and stay home

Quote:
TheHill.com

He said: "Suppose you're a voter, and you've got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don't think that candidate can deliver on anything at all. Candidate Y you agree with on about half the issues, but he can deliver. Which candidate are you going to vote for?"
He has done nothing but hurt Obama during this entire campaign, even after the primaries and now this.

Bill, nobody likes your crying ass anymore so stay the hell away from those of us trying to move forward.

Wtf is he doing playing with hypotheticals when Mrs Clinton has been so disdainful of them during the primary...?! (...and refused to answer them.)

President Clinton is not going to stay home and shut up, nor should he.

Why doesn't everyone wait and see what he says tommorow before you burn the house down. Do you honestly think he is going to willingly destroy his own legacy tommorow night? If nothing else, I think you would agree he has a healthy ego... he is far too intelligent, to look like a bad sport tommorow.

I'm sick to death of it. We get it...most people on the board now hate one of our greatest Presidents. Sometimes I feel like this is a Rush Limbaugh board

I got news for ya, unlike the current criminal administration...Clinton cares about this country...yes he is competitive and he made mistakes, so did she.

Obama is going to make mistakes too...

And let me finish with this...NO ONE ON THIS BOARD LOVES OBAMA MORE THAN I, I cried my eyes when he finally one the nomination and I wept when Michelle Obama was speaking last night

Obama will be one of the greatest...even greater than Clinton

for the love of God...how much longer to I have to come on everyday and scroll through countless Clinton hating threads?

okay I'm done, I'm just really frustrated

Pssshhaww........Bill has done it to himself over and over again.

One of the greatest presidents ever? Really? I was leaning more towards "not terrible"

But anyways...when Bill says shit like this, combined with his whining about his topic, he deserves everybit he gets.

Yes, I do think he will continue to destroy his own legacy without a doubt. Let's face it, he pretty much already has.

Here's a little news for you, Obama does not do everything he can to screw other people because he's bitter about a loss. Don't even try to put him into the same low class that Bill has fallen into.

Bill Clinton cares about himself not the country and his actions have shown nothing less. Take the blinders off and get over the fact that the Clinton's are not going to be in the white house anymore and the whole "let him fuck everyone over because he's Bill Clinton" attitude is tired and old.

Please indulge me and tell me a single thing he's said that benefits Obama and the current race, one thing. This is not about Bill and his selfish agenda, it's about Obama and the democrats winning the white house.

The only fault I have with Obama is the fact that he's allowing this self serving piece of shit to even speak during this convention, he's a much bigger person than Bill by a long shot.

thank you.
everyone's squeeling like a stuck pig before they are hurt.

Chances are both Hillary and Bill will give good party unity speeches.

If not THEN you can lambast them.

Obama supporters should consider the fact the party unity flows both ways.

If you keep on dissing the Clintons, you just keep burning bridges to Unity.
Michelle did anice speech last night - i give her credit.
she is not like the media has portrayed her.
How about giving the other wing of the party a chance to perform before they are condemned?

Gotta love that....can't diss the Clintons for dissing Obama unless you want to burn the bridges towards unity

I disagree that his legacy is destroyed.

I believe I said he would be greater than Clinton...

I'll take the blinders off if he does something to hurt Obama tomorrow...Okay? I'm serious

Eric, if you don't realize how desperately I want the democrats to win...I don't know what to say

He said that Obama will beat McCain and he should, and he said there was NOTHING Obama couldn't learn once he was President. He prefaced that with the fact that he himself had to learn a lot.

You have to understand that not letting Clinton address the convention would of really hurt Obama. There is no way he can afford to alienate Clinton supporters...I understand you disagree Eric, but the political reality is much different...Obama and his campaign know that.

I just hate everything that's been done this country in the last 8 years so much, it's very difficult to watch even the democrats on this board go at each other...last night was so great, I think the Clinton threads killed my buzz

and let's face it...it's being going on for months now
I'm just worn out and that's my problem, not the board's.

Not true, in fact have a look at what Chuck Todd said this morning:

Quote:
Perhaps this was part of the deal with Hillary Clinton; Bill must not speak before her (he doesn't just like overshadowing opponents). But whatever the reason, the Clintons are already getting more deferential treatment by Barack Obama in this convention than the Clintons gave their opponents (or the Kennedys), or than George Bush gave John McCain in 2000. In fact, I'm struggling to find an example where a losing primary opponent got two nights of a convention.
The Clintons have done nothing to help Obama what so ever, Hillary's vicious right wing tactics are now being used against Obama as we expected. Bill is given a canvas and the best you can come up with is:
Quote:
He said that Obama will beat McCain and he should, and he said there was NOTHING Obama couldn't learn once he was President.
Really????

Hillary is doing her part but nothing she can do will reverse the damage she's caused, none the less she's earned her right to speak tonight. Bill on the other hand can go to hell.
