Catharsis? The Puma Response

Quote:
What a beautiful and gracious woman.

If I didn't have such a laundry list of issues with Obama and DNC, that speech would have had me holding my nose voting for Obama, but not this time.

Hillary has earned my eternal respect
Quote:

It was great to see Hillary tonight. She should be the nominee. I'm not really excited about McCain, but I won't vote Obama. I hope I am not making a mistake; however, I'm sticking with my gut. It has served me well in the past and continues to do so

Quote:
im not voting for obama either i dont care what hillary said ...
Quote:
Great Speach from HILLARY but I will NEVER NEVER vote Nobama. McCain NOW

Quote:
I would notwaste my time
Quote:
Your not making a mistake!

Hillary will be the president in 2012!

The only thing in this world that would prevent this would be an Obama presidency now (kind of threw up in my mouth when I typed that)!
Quote:
NO OBAMA! I wish Hillary had dropped out of the party and run as an independent but it's not going to happen. Couldn't even watch her say she backs BO tonight. It saddens me at what this country has lost. She would have been a powerful leader. I will NOT vote for Obama under any circumstances. My vote will go to Nader or McCain. Hope Hillary can win in 2012
Quote:
Great speech and Hillary made the best appeal she possibly could for Obama, but it's still Nobama for me. He isn't qualified and there isn't any reason to think he'll do anything he promises.
Quote:
Whos barack obama?
Quote:
She made a great speech but I'm still not convinced. No Obama.
Quote:
yep... I just visited seveal pro-hill blogs.. NOPE.. they love hillary BUT they are not voting for someone that inexperienced and someone who stole this nomination!!!
Quote:
the speech made me more po at the dems she was awesome she is the best mccain 2008 hillary 2012
Quote:
I won't vote for Obama. Never, ever will I vote for someone impersonating being the assumed leader and nominee of the Democratic Party. The DNC has just lost another election and I'm hoping that the obamatots have a good cry for the next four years
Quote:
It was a great speech. She should be the nominee and as it seems that that will not happen I will stick with McCain.
I will not put my country in the hands of someone so UNQUALIFIED.

Quote:
She had us on our feet! Wow! What a woman, what a leader. I think many at the convention are thinking......rats! What were we thinking?

Love Hill.....hate the "new democratic party". Won't vote for Barack. Hoping we reclaim our party soon
Quote:
No Way, No How, No Bama
Quote:
Hillary's the best! NO NO NO NObama!!! No Way! No How!
Quote:
Nobama! Never! Helllooooo Mccain!!
Quote:
Watching Hillary’s speech, I couldn’t help getting a little choked up. She’s simply amazing. If democrats didn’t realize it before, it’s obvious now that we (they) picked the wrong candidate.

I believe that Barack Obama will lose this election. I, for one, will not help him win

Quote:
She didn't give Obama a raving endorsement! I wouldn't vote for Obama.
NoBama!
Quote:
What HIllary said was a reminder to us, of the abuse she sustained and how she remained classy. Hillary is a true leader. She came through with flying colors. Obama can't lead, he follows, he needs people to protect him, tell him what to say, do, lie for him.

The more the Obama camp, DNC, media forced HIllary to support Obama, though they abused her in the media, Pelosi abused her supporters, and after seeing this tonight, the more reason not to vote Obama. It sickened me to watch her be so classy, all the way through, support Obama, while Obama and his DNC buddies, did what they could to silence, stop, oppress not only Hillary, but her supporters, the people of America.

As I said earlier, this is not just about Hillary, this is bigger than any one person. This is about respect, integrity. They abused, humililated, tried to destroy Hillary. What has happened at the hands of the DNC, Obama camp will come back to haunt Obama and the Dems. What you sew, you reap
Quote:
Voting for Obama would be condoning the corruption, cheating, caucus-rigging, antidemocratic RBC meeting, and intimidation that transpired. Every one of us has either experienced these things firsthand or knows someone who has.

If you really can't vote McCain, then yes, stay home, or vote for Nader or McKinney.

But NObobo NOway!
AND ON AND ON AND ON........

NOT ONE PERSON SAID THEY'D VOTE FOR OBAMA!

I still won't vote for Barack Obama - www.hillaryclintonforum.net

Just seems to confirm my suspicisions. All her speech did was make some dems hate her less and rally her supporters further behind her. It did NOTHING to help Obama. This was all about HER political future.

It was never intended to. Sure, it jumps through all the hoops people expected, but doesn't really do anything. And this while everyone on here is all lauding her for it, too.

okay a few more

Quote:
I agree and Obama is worse then a socialist he is a Marxist....We have had the bible reading Bush for 8 years and you can still have abortions....
Quote:
Hillary's speech was great and she was beautiful. Did you notice she was wearing one of the PUMA colors? Orange? Many of the PUMA shirts were orange yesterday at headquarters and other places and the balloons released at Cheesman Park were also ORANGE!

Also she didn't go overboard on Obama which I think is very telling!
Quote:
Rov v Wade will not be overturned. First of all, you don't know the process it takes to overturn it. Not even evangelicals, who have tried to find any and all loopholes have been able to, in 35 years. Educate yourself. Moreover, McCain won't touch it. If you're worried about him appointing conservative justices to the Supreme Court, the President cannot just put someone on the Supreme Court. It has to go through Congress, and with a majority Dem Congress, it's unlikely to happen.

Obama is a socialist with marxist leanings. Research him more. Redistribution of wealth? That's what he wants. Socialism. No understanding of history or the military. You can stay home, but that's a vote for Obama. So you'll be giving him a whole lot.

Quote:
Very well said. Staying home helps Obama. So is writing in Hillary's name even though it feels good. A vote for McCain is a vote against Obama!
Quote:
Great speech! It reminded us of HILLARY'S vision, commitment and solutions for our country. She touched on all her issues, the women's vote anniversary today, the need to keep going, as her reference to Harriet Tubman said, the 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling, the promise of America. She was showing us who she is.

Thanks, Hillary, and I'm voting for McCain
Quote:
Hillary gave us clues in her speech. As I have been reading posts one occurred to me that hadn't before. When she spoke about the soldier needing care I remembered how she and McCain were guests at a new medical facility for soldiers. Obama was not invited. Also she cares about our military and their families. Obama was so busy with photo opportunities to worship himself; he could care less about our wounded in the military hospitals in Germany. She is sending us who know her a message. I will support McCain. The imposter Obama will not get my vote.

And you guys think WE'RE bad!

DRS112 I beg you NOT to feel so harsh. These "People" (and I am being VERY "Liberal" with that term with them) are not DEMOCRATS. (well...depending if you got these responces from HCF.net......if you did then i am correct......if not, fogive my assumption.

All of them (as near as I can tell) have jumped ship from the Democratic party. Hate her less? They always loved her. I know from my own experiances and reactions that there are a number of emotions and passions that are related with a candidate you may have so much faith in.

I say this.......not so much as to correct you......but to tell you that some...no most Hillary Clinton supporters simply are to angry right now.....to wrapped up in the "Great let down" that has been this election so far TO THEM.

You need not try to understand them. They may or may not actually vote one way or another. Just remember that there are many of us that support Senator Hillary Clinton....who have said many things. We get angry, we react we have are moments of clarity even.......but it is out of our hands to make thing worse. That is not a typo. We can continue to tell these people to shut up. That they don't belong. To go away. it just makes them even more.....resovled. I know this. I have fallen down more than once. I may well do so again....and may not even be able to get back up. But this is America! That really does mean something. What it means is for each of us to decide.

We can tear each other apart.....we can continue to take sides........all that does is strengthen the Republican base. I see it everyday. My Family is so sure Obama is wrong for this country.

Tell them why he is right. Not why they are wrong.

I am truely sorry if this sounds preachy. Maybe it was. Just......try to find positive about this situation. It is the way to winning. Go too negative.....I won't say anymore. (tonight that is!)

So Mark, you honestly think the Alien queen's speech/scriech was meant to help Obama? I bothered to listen to the first 15 minutes- nothin' cuts into The Daily Show, and in the first minute she basically left all the little rhetorical levers meant to get the Dead Enders to stir the shit up.

And shit stir they have.

yeah I got that from where you think I did. When I said some dems hate her less I wasn't talking about her PUMA supporters. I was talking about the rest of the dems.

But my point was to show that for all of the babbeling that went on that it was necessary to get the some 30% of her supporters who refuse to support Obama behind him, that it didn't work. That it will never work. That it was never intended to work. And that this was only about her political future with nothing positive going to Obama.

As I have said before---the only decent things she said about Obama in the speech was that he shared her policy positions.

Her attacks on him throughout the campaign were very personal.

She did not say for example "Obama has crossed the Commander in Chief theshold and can now do more than just give a speech."

In order for her to help Obama she has to admit that she is a scum sucking lying bitch!

She's not going to do that so we should just get over it and move on to work to win the election.
