Taurus wagon hybrid coming

Following a talk with some of the parents at my grandaugher's school, I found a number and called Toyota. Had a talk with some executive.

Their Camry now comes in a hybrid model, and the guy down the street from me has one. He's averaged 48 mpg.

My conversation with toyota was a request they re=introduce the Camry wagon. As long as you're dealing with a couple or 3 youngsters, our '92 Camry wagon held 7 people nicely.

He thought it to be a good idea and promised to pass it on to the appropriate people.

I stopped Saturday at my local Ford dealer where I bought my Taurus Wagon, and made the same point with them. I was informed Ford's Taurus wagon will have a hybrid model in '09

The advantage of the Taurus and Camry sized wagons over SUV's is the basic vehicle is lighter and more efficient, which makes the hybrid models even more efficient.

I also asked if they could put a gas filler on both sides of the car.

Ahem...is this a memory problem or just plain laziness?

If they were going for it, make it so that the hybrid vehicle could be charged from the house current.

Most people don't know this but, your fuel guage tells you what side your fuel door is on. There's either an arrow or the nozzle graphic points to the correct side.
