Neither dems nor pugs have laid out a plan for massive relief(water, food etc) - only a police state. What else do you need to know

Think about what happened at Katrina. That's the blueprint.

Many will say I'm cynical and hate America. But I don't hate America - I love it.
Like TTC said, planning for disaster relief for the problems GW will cause in the near future is almost pointless. If we wait for another 20 or 30 years to make steps to cut our CO2 output, it may be too late and we'll be forced to live and die with our ignorance.

You really have to explain though why you think the Pirates (the Bush admin, neo-cons in general, all supported by the oil industry) are telling the truth about global warming? You say we should stop fighting wars over oil yet complain about having to pay $7 a gallon for gasoline because of a carbon tax. The price of gasoline in the US is cheap (or has been cheap) because it has been heavily subsidised by massive US military spending which historically kept cheap oil flowing from the middle east.

Why can't you connect the two? The same industry that funds disinformation about global warming is the one that profitted from US imperialism in the middle east. You rally against the latter but somehow accept the former even though profits are the driving force for both.

And please explain why you think the author of the article you posted included the almost 2000 year long Moberg paleoclimate reconstruction when addressing global temperatures over the last 30 years. Why would you trust someone who cites no scientific documents, only press articles as its source if anything at all?
