I'm not sure how well I protected all my plants against 8 hours below freezing. I ran out of sheets too. I found myself wishing I'd pruned my rose bushes more recently. I've covered my rose bushes, my Datura (two--one's a little big--I covered his top and his base)--they'll come back but I'd rather save them--, I covered my rosemary. I wrapped the bottom half of my Norfolk Island Pine. Yes, I researched it. I was surprised. I bought mine in NJ. They sell them like crazy all over the place as living Christmas trees--and yet if they are planted anywhere north--they are not going to make it. A lot of people kill these trees every year not realizing they can't survive winter temperatures.

My cat eats the flowers, so i had to save it, LOL
Take the sheet off the gardenia and use it on another plant. They are cold hardy. (Or are you growing a Miami Supreme? I'm not certain about that hybrid..)

When I was at the market before Xmas I was telling every person with a Norfolk Xmas tree in their cart this warning. It's absurd the retailers don't put warnings on them, but then again they make more money next year, eh? Commercialism, bah.

as long as he plays well here. But you can't judge by yesterdays game - he was on his back most of the time - i've seen him rifle the ball.
