I'm still shivering.
I don't know how folks can put up with this cold.

Might as well just move into my freezer chest

I feel so sorry for you Cos. I have seasonal affective disorder, so when gloomy cold frigid weather appears, I can't seem to get warm enough and all I want to do is sleep. (and eat) But, as with anything, it takes us about two weeks to adapt. Hopefully, your cold weather will be long gone by then.

Maybe it won't be too late still. Maybe it just needs warm water.

Expound please. Should I be giving my plants a warm water drink?

I thought I read that citrus growers kept spraying warm water on the oranges to keep them coated in ice so as not to freeze.

I think I've read that too. I was wondering if it would do good after the fact.

Ok, 5th generation Tampa Bay native here speaking up, lol. (Bradenton gal.)
How big is the mango? If it's big enough to have a "woody" trunk (say 6-8 feet) it may come back. If it was just a baby it won't. The best thing you can do (right away) is prune the plant parts off that were frozen. Once it warms up those foul juices spoil inside the plant and kill it. Pruning it will avoid that. You might wind up with a branchier tree, but it will live.
