Sure, but they're not an aggressive animal by nature. You'd just have to be careful not to get clawed by the animal as it tries to escape your hold. I'm a herper. (I'm used to catching and handling reptiles, and I keep snakes as pets.)

I've handled them before. I had a girlfriend that had one as a pet. It was funny...you'd walk in and try to figure out where he was hanging around...usually the on the curtains.

We mismanage our environment and society. Then we cry when the consequences of this mismanagement catch up. Mismanagement of society has given us terrorism, crime and social unrest. The Republicans repeated whine about "security" is a direct consequence of their poor leadership. Mismanagement, disposable business initiatives has impacted our environment so we whine about the consequences.

Theft is profitable, just that we have been caught so expect consequences.....

Nope the planet will go on, even if we nuke it - we just wont be here....
As improbable as it might seem, an economic collapse tomorrow could actually be the salvation of the planet if handled correctly.

'Fiscal Collapse' doesn't mean there's no work to be done, or that we're truly D.O.A.
What I am trying to do is make people believe that we can initiate F.D.R. like Public Works Projects which are centered about the Global Warming/Environment issue, and Transition to a New Economy based upon this one premise: 'Save The Planet'.

1.It can be done!
2.There is no need for mass un-employment when there is urgent work to be done.
3.It's the only thing that makes sense.

My problem is that I've no political influence/contacts, and although the idea is without doubt 'Perfect'(), will anyone listen(let alone, will they act quick enough?).
