Lol!There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of inbetween down here lately. Yesterday I switched directly from air conditioning to heat.
Down to 28 degrees tonight!? We're showing 9 hours below freezing on my weather watcher. This will be the coldest snap I've seen here. Wow. Sure hope my Charlie Brown (Norfolk Island Pine) does okay. I've got his ground area well mulched. I'll cover his base with sheet. My potted plants are happily inside. I gave my fern (Pedestal wig) a huge new pot yesterday. I had to cut her out of her old pot. That was work. We lost quite a few fronds but it was necessary. That plant has been with me 6-7 years now--she had been in that pot for about 3. She's looking quite comfortable this morning. ![]() My Wolfie lasted a minute and a half outside this morning. Lol, she took a quick turn at her scratch post and said that was that. It's 40 degrees right now. Sweater day. and cocoa too.

i covered all the ground bushes, the gardenia, iris, and even laid plastic up over the bougenvelia.
I got robelinni palms, and the should get covered, but i'm out of sheets. the last thing i covered was my beautiful firecracker plant out back My cat eats the flowers, so i had to save it, LOL

Wonder what the Gulf Stream is doing ?
Could this be a symptom of the conveyor slowing down from the melt..... Stay warm....

There is no evidence of the Gulf Stream slowing down at this point. Besides you wouldn't see it in Florida first, it would be the British Isles and Europe that would get hit.
