All sound a nd fury but little real punch. After so much wind we got just an inch of snow and that's melting quickly.

Dr. Zaius, what part of Sac to you live? My cable went out for 6 hrs. Friday. I was lucky. I did run over the same tree branch (only me. Hey, it was fucking dark), twice, on my way to and from Taco Bell friday night. Right on Watt ave. No tire or paint damage. I made it through this one fairly unscathed. But man that wind Fri. morning was impressive. My windows were shaking, almost like they were going to break.

Oh, and If I might rant, these fucking pussies here in Sacramento, I swear. I was at the grocery store talking to this guy in line who's power had been out since Friday (this was late yesterday), and he said the store was out of C and D batteries, dry ice, almost all ice. And as we go to the front of the line the clerk there said a week ago people were buying shit by the palet practically. Stockpiling. Okay...this was a nasty storm, but it was not a fucking hurricane. This is why I never get mad when people make fun of Sacramento. The idiots bought out stores like the world was going to fucking end. Who wants to bet half of them didn't even lose their power? Meanwhile, this poor guy's power really did go out and he was just looking to get some extra shit in case it lasted a few more days. Really cool guy and was able to laugh about it. I would have been livid.
