Well, the fact that Ivan's exhibit will be used to display a new gorilla says to me that Ivan himself won't need it anymore. In short, I think he's passed on and they won't say it.

Actually thet were trying to stop me from coming to see him. They were never going to use Ivan's exhibit to put the new gorilla in. It was all a lie to me. I did get to see him, and he was in his exhibit. That was back in 2004. They would have to tell us if he died. It's in the contract I believe. His skeleton will sent to the Burke Museum in Seattle. I'm aganist it. I think they should build a bronze staue of him here in Tacoma at the County City building (the jail and courts) with his ashes in it. Ivan is an icon here in Tacoma so if they don't tell us there will be hell to pay! Ivan was raised as a human and rode motorcycles and so on. The name of the store he lived in was "B&I Circus Store"

People here in Tacoma would cause an uprise over it. The news will report it but it will be on the zoo side of the story just like when Caesar died. They had to annouce it. And it's always death from some bacterial infection.

When the male chimp at Hoozle Zoo broke out the zoo adminstrators wouldn't make any comment at all, and without a police report there would've been no report at all. They'd have hushed it up as they had with their other incidents.

Ivan is a different story. People here are not happy with the way it turned out for him, so if they don't annouce it the zoos will not hear the end of it. Plus they know the stink i would make and they don't want that with what I have.

Late eighties or early nineties I think. The two chimps just sat in their display like Peg and Al Bundy from Married With Children. Then, when an old bald local reporter who does the quirky stories reported on the zoo the male's display of throwing himself at the window behind the reporter [the chimp knowing his actions would be seen by many if not just the guy] told me there'd be a problem soon.

The escape occurred a couple weeks after.
