Everything the communist government does tends to be bad for the poorest and most impoverished of Chinese. It's the safe assumption to make given that some one Billion Chinese live in U.N. defined abject poverty and are poisoned to all hell by their own government and corporations.

Well, they did bring hundreds of millions out of poverty in the process... but how many they poisoned in the process is a valid question. That said, i don't think it's any different from 19th century Dickensian England and the period of rapid industrialization of the British Empire.

Or ours for that matter...it's pretty hypocritical for us to say yeah, we polluted alot to get where we are...but you can't do the same...they need to get through steps 1 and 2 before they can get to step 3 with us....

True enough... There are safer, better tech that is available to companies compared to 19th century England, but the problem is, Chinese tend to steal it without remorse... So no Western Corp is willing to put modern tech in China... We give them 60's tech and watch them blow up. Fascinating, really. i draw my inspiration from exploding Chinese. They have balls... can rebuild a plant in a few weeks, compared to American years. As a Russian, i can build you a plant as cheap as Chinese, but it won't blow up... but my inspiration comes from Chinese, like it or not, they have balls to blow up and rebuild and keep pushing and risking and innovating...
