It is not just there.....
Think it is the society, I have been having some bad thoughts lately so I looked up sociopath, guess I am not one as I can control my rage - but it fits the profile of American society.....

Also consider the personality types that would be attracted to such an industry, one where they can impose their will on other living creatures. There will be a tendency to become involved with such roles, care providers, cops, judges and attorneys all play with peoples lives. When there is no oversight then "incidents" occur, no repercussions, to actually do the job is less cost effective than appearing to do the job - theft is profitable.

Before her injury my girlfriend tried to work at Annaburg Nursing Home, she missed the written test by one point. But one nurses aid that remained was stealing the patients medicine, tried to talk them out of it, no good. Then my girlfriend mentioned the ones that did not bother with cleaning the patients. I thought it was ironic that they dismissed her, two weeks no pay.

Nope negligence is not just there in that area, it is all for profit the service is irrelevant.

It is a social problem. There is archeological evidence that in the first century they took better care of their sick and disabled than we do today, yet call ourselves civilized. I've come to the conclusion that we are only supposed to live so long. Let's stick with the medications and treatments we have. I know what it's like to be an experiment and I begged for over a year to stop and they wouldn't remove the experimental pacemaker. Monkey's can't say anything.

If it's willful abuse then the detatchment isn't a factor. What you're reference to is neglegance. In which case there should be an addition of one person [or more if the facility is too large] to oversee the wellfare of the animals.

Unfortunatly there are not enough people who care to oversee employee behavior. The bottom line is the workers know these animals are doomed in the first place, so they will not let themselves get attached. Even with people who do care, they don't last long at the job mainly because the company does not want employees who will care. It's not in the "markets" best interest.

It's not easy to look at. You know how much I want to rescue as many of those poor monkey's as I can. After being the subject of several studies including that horrible pacemaker, I understand more than anyone how these animals feel. It just makes me sick.

Here is the latest on the monkey and the laws here. And I am just hearing on the news that a huge number of people with diabetes in a study with a study medication have died. The monkey's can't talk, but we can. Now they are talking about doing large and expensive studies on what works! Hey people, wake up, you are paying for this!

What the fuck is going on in people's minds? Have they completely lost all compassion? Maybe unknown to us, many humans disappeared long ago and these unfeeling evil beings have replaced them.

Somebody please gather these imposters up and shoot them.

According to RCW 16.52.205, a person can be guilty of animal cruelty in the first degree if they cause "undue suffering" or "unnecessary pain, injury, or death on an animal." However, the law also states when animal death and suffering is connected "with any properly conducted scientific experiments" it’s legal.
Since it's clearly not properly conducted you'd think that'd be a short and easy case to prosecute.
