There are different flora and fauna in all areas of the USA and most are not considered 'weeds'. The indigenous varieties may not be what people desire, but some great landscaping can be achieved with use of native plants and trees. And even in our vineyard, our highest quality and most profitable grapes are dry-farmed--no forced irrigation--only the infrequent rains. Others are irrigated. The remaining property is completely native plants and trees.
