The most recent study that I know of says that not for a long time....in fact it said that oil will be the dominant fuel supplying 70% of the world's energy through this century despite increasing demand.

That projection is based on the shortsighted practice of flooding a well to force oil to the top in order to maintain current levels of production at the expense of total oil overall. So I think those findings are highly suspect.

She brings up some good points about how pervasive the oil products are....... I watched a documentary a couple weeks ago about this guy in London..... He wanted to lessen his impact on the planet & show ppl it could be done............

He takes a daily takes train in & out of the city & sleeps on the ground out in the woods somewhere. NO SHIT........

He has several rationals for wearing the nice cloths & the train ride.. He was eating lunch talking to the camera eating sushi & some out door cafe in London...........

It was served on a plastic plate w/ a plastic fork & he is sipping bottled water..........

But really there is almost nothing you can do w/out some impact cept die.....

The same people who correctly predicted America's oil supply being tapped out have said the Arabian oil fields are almost thru. I watched a show about this a few months ago, they used the Nixon admins people who showed how the 'easy' oil is about depleted there.
