Thanks, elementary school, but it's busy all the time like a park. It's 5:45 now and there are kids playing baseball and on the swings.

Anyway I don't really need advice or help......... Unless dr wants to come over & help trim the bushes...lol Just kidding.

My front was professionally landscaped before I bought it & I have done my best... AAhh well what I had to do

to maintain it......

But really I have talked to lots of ppl about this (mostly men) & most feel the same way..........

Gravel! I like the idea of gravel. I want a rock garden. Zero mowing. Especially the slant in the front yard.

In fact, that is one of the most absurd things i've ever heard. Why in God's name would the government force you to have a lawn? A lawn is, at best, nice scenery, and a massive waste of resources.

So much for freedom. More like insanity.

Lawns are death traps for bees, butterflies, and many other God's creatures.

I spray the perimeter of my house with insecticide whenever my husband nags me into doing it. Then I only really do around the garage, the front door and where the fire ants are because I don't want to kill the lizards--but, I don't tell him that.

My 'lawn' is now a combination of ground cover, weeds and grass. I haven't had time to redo the full ground cover experiment--I think to do it right I would have to do it myself. That time imput just isn't an option.
