You got owned because you got caught referencing a hack sight that was misrepresenting and taking out of context the only thing that gave the article credit.

Your entire argument for this particular thread is done, quashed. Unless you intend to defend the article.

It used to be a sort of game with righties. My expert , your expert. Your report, my report. That kind of shit. But your ideology has failed so massively in so many areas it's not even hard anymore.

Care to comment on how conservatism helps the economy? Freedom? Health? National Defense?

We're falling behind at quite a nice clip in all those areas.

It's over Minty. It just hasn't filtered down the the trailer parks in Florida yet.

As long as the Dem's don't self destruct, you probably won't see conservative leadership in this country or republican rule for at least 4 presidential terms, maybe more.

You guys had your chance and you royally fucked it up. Your only hope is that the American populace is even more stupid then anyone could have possibly thought.

The author of the OP blog entry, Michael Asher, is just another lying climate change denier as is Lord Monckton who never misses a chance at making a fool of himself.
Yes, they hate the Earth just like she does. I say anyone who wants to deny that we're warming the planet can be deported from Earth.

What does any of this have to do with whether or not GW is man-made?

Try anger management, maybe? I don't know, but I certainly don't have time to be your counselor -- or punching bag.

Either stay on topic or find someone else to bait.

You are misprepresenting what the quoted part means. The enhanced effort is to get a more detailed understanding of the various ways human activity is changing the earth's climate.
Yes, likely, but not definitively so.

A concensus does not require a definitive conclusion with 100% certainty. If so there would be almost no concensus positions on anything.

You posted an article that made a false claim.

You then falsely claimed that there wasn't a consensus on climate change in regards to it being man made.

Now you are trying to rewrite the definition of consensus.

My last post wasn't about a consensus, sorry, I got off track. I meant it is definitive is that global warming exists but the debate is still wide open on whether or not it is man-made.

Except of course you would be wrong, the debate is not wide open on whether or not it is man-made.

The consensus position which represents the vast majority of the scientific community is that it is very likely (>90%) that the climate change we are seeing is predominantly caused by human activity.

And you are certainly entitled to believe that. I'm just a bit more skeptical.

But it is not my opinion, it is the position of every major scientific organization in the world. It is your right to be skeptical, but that does not change the fact that there is a concensus position on anthropogenic climate change which you falsely claimed there wasn't.
