I have no doubt as to your confusion; i.e. where the fuck do you get that from? However this is only about him as far as he's concerned. He could give a fuck less about the environment or anything/anyone else for that matter. Any statements "from" him are purely propaganda to help aid his cause of filling his pockets more.

The end result could be worth not caring, but since we've seen how Big Oil operated, it would be foolish to carte blanche his motivations and as such we should watch the whole process very carefully with a jaundiced eye. IMHO of course.
