I agree they will end up w/ some type of amnesty regardless of what it is called.........
But I don't think the solution is in punishing those that come here to be hired by not only willing but eager employers but to go after the employers......
Threats & fines...... lol TIme is over w/ that............ They need a free tour of the justice system... THe criminal one..........
If instead of weighing a little fine against making big money hiring illegals change the game........... You get busted hiring illegals you go to court & roll the dice w/ a jury as if you were being sued...
You might come out w/ a few dollars in fines or you can end up w/ millions owed in restitution & penalties........ Handled like consumer fraud etc.....
