Much as i hate to say it a god that guards one country and no others except in connection to that is no god to be trusted and not worthy of worship. Any real deity won't favor nations over other nations. It can't lest it exhibit anything less than unconditional love.

Also, Israel wasn't a nation while Hitler was around. The real weaknesses of the Nazis were Hitler's ego, the ideology itself hamstrung much of their wartime performance and basic geography stood against them.

Perhaps they will but I don't think it will matter by then..............

It will be Muslim... Not necessarily Palestine or Palestinian (like there is a race any longer that can claim such)....... The lines & the names & the many players have changed over the years... Even the religion for a short time or two..............

We are prob not going to agree on what our long term out look is for the area.......... Don't matter as we prob won't live long enough to see it all come about.... or not......

Unlikely. Israel might get fully into a militarized society and/or police state to hold what they have and take the rest, but i can guarantee you the rest of Palestine will be swallowed up in due time. In fact I bet that- at most, by 2150 the rest of Palestine will be theres with Palestinians either pushed out or on reservations, possibly by the end of this century.

Well I won't be around by then...............

As I said I agree this is what they want to do & other than uncle sam no one can stop them........ Or frankly cares enough to........ I totally agree w/ the reservations/bantu's etc..........

But IMO (history/time) it will be as it has always been ~ Egyptians, Mongols Greeks, ROmans or crusaders & TUrks..........etc. etc.etc........

What's going on in Palestine is akin to what happened in what is now the United States, and we've yet to take any negative repercussions for it other than an unfortunate "moral flexibility" we would've been better off not developing. Outside of that the land theft came without cost, and the same will be true of the Israeli government. And if push comes to shove I'm sure the Israeli government will escalate it to a level the terror groups and rogue states can't match. So if Israel goes the rest of the region will also be radiologically "hot" for millennia.

I don't see it that way....

I see the Israeli treatment of Palestinians/Arabs/Muslims/Christians akin to how the Europeans provoked & stoled from the Indians.........

But the Muslims are not the Indians....... & there are a lot of them........ They have persevered for a long time now......... Through Mongol invasions, TUrks & crusaders...... They ain't going away or giving up..........

Yeah, there used to be a lot of American Indians. Israel's advantages over Palestine are certain forms of bureaucracy [import for organizing military actions], technology, military training [again harkining back to organization], industrial production, foreign support [beyond the U.S.] and- among the hardliners, a level of ruthlessness equal to any terror group. The basic ideology of wanting the rest of Palestine is as ardent and extreme as Hamas, Hezballah and Islamic Jihad. What's more Israel's advantage is the backing of the largest religion in the world, Christianity. The deck is stacked. It has nothing to do with the favor of any god, but to do with the socio-techno-politico-financial trajectory.

If I were Palestinians I'd pack my shit up and move, even if I had to immigrant illegally into another country.

If Israel wants to conquer Palestine they will have to do it block by block. In the end they may win, but they're going to have to work and suffer for it.

The only thing stopping Israel's government- and they're not in a position to do so, are the Israelis themselves, the majority of whom don't like having to hold land that's not theirs and don't like kicking Palestinians around.

Olmert is a huge problem for Israelis. This is a man who loves Bush and thinks he's a great friend to Israel. Until he's out of office things are only going to get worse. They used to say Arafat never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity. The same can be said about Olmert.
