Hamas: Rocket attacks not aimed at Israeli women, children

By DPA
Tags: Hamas, Al-Qaida

Gaza - The Islamic Hamas movement on Saturday denied targeting Israeli children and women with rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.

"Hamas doesn't mean to kill children with its rockets," spokesman Ismail Radwan told reporters in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip in response to a statement made by al-Qaida's second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, who said Hamas' random rockets kill women and children in violation of Islamic law.

Radwan added that "the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians may involve some killing of children," accusing the Israeli army of "deliberately killing children, women and destroying houses and mosques."

Local Palestinian media reported that al-Zawahiri's statements appeared on an Islamic website as part of responses he sent to readers' questions.

Ayman al-Zawahiri is a regular comedian. How many women and children did his goon kill before, during and after 09/11? I only wish he'd talk enough trash that it led to the U.S. finding him and putting a bullet through his head.

Or the PFLP finding him, putting a bullet in his head, and then taking his weapons.

Such a task would be a bit out of the reach of the PFLP or any Palestinian resistance group, but Hizbollah could pull it off if given the right incentives.
Using Arabs to go after al Qaeda makes more sense to me than relying on Israel.

He prob could of used it several years ago......lol

He mishandled that war even more than the stupid war in IraQ.......

Lets see now.............. He waited all those months then went in w/ the cia. Then the military & didn't get the one man in a cave......

Then we attacked another country were we knew he was not for wmd........ Then we did it to free the IraQi ppl then we did it for the war on terror. Am I doing ok so far.......... Let me catch my breath here............................

Ok so now we are there to rebuild & protect IraQ from him........ Oh & to protect Opiumstan from him to..........eventhough we are pretty sure he is in northern wackistan somewhere......

Lets see now there are around a million dead IraQi civilians w/ another 4 or 5 million displaced in & mostly out of the country... Not sure how many ppl died in Opimumstan but who cares right.........

Hezballah has no connection to Hamas, and in fact the two groups hate each other.

That doesnt make sense. Iran provides moral support to the Palestinian resistance against filthy Israel, and also provides weapons and training to Hizbollah, whos weapons and sometimes personell make their way into Palestine.

Im interested in why you say they hate each other and look forward to reading about it when you post the info. But at the end of the day, petty differences aside, they are united against a common enemy. When both groups are holed up in a bombed out apartment complex with 2 rebels and a multiband radio, I think Hamas and Hizbollah can set their differences aside.

And thats besides the point. Hizbollah and Hamas could be used independently to hunt down al Qaida. Having them working together would just be an added bonus.

And looking further into the future, they could be useful in smoking out MOSSAD agents who become "a problem" to American interests as history marches forward. Gotta have an insurance policy afterall.

To draw a distinction between legitimate resistance groups and common terrorists.

To hell with Bush. This is in THEIR best interests.

I couldnt think of a better photo op than to have leaders from Hamas, Hezbollah, the PFLP, and the Iranian government giving a speech together as a dead Osama Bin Laden dangles from a rope above.
