Mother and Her 4 Children Dead

JERUSALEM: A Palestinian mother and her four young children were killed in northern Gaza on Monday during an Israeli operation against militants there, and a dispute quickly arose over exactly how they had died.

The Israelis said they shot a missile from the air that hit two armed men who were carrying heavy explosives which blew apart the family's house behind them. Palestinian witnesses said they believed an Israeli tank shell or a missile from an unmanned drone flew into the small house, killing the four as they were eating breakfast. Two other children from the same family were badly wounded and hospitalized.

The killings prompted vows of revenge and seemed likely to complicate Egyptian efforts to mediate a cease-fire between Hamas, the militant Islamist group that rules Gaza, and Israel.

I see a pattern here. Every time a peace overture is up in the air the Israelis do something like this inflame the population. Its sad that they kill innocent women and children as a matter of policy.

I see a pattern here. Every time a peace overture is up in the air the Israelis do something like this inflame the population. Its sad that they kill innocent women and children as a matter of policy.

Whether it was a tank shell, or missile . . . Either can only explode once.

Something had to trigger these secondary explosions.

So, as a matter of policy, The Israelis have the ability to intentionally direct secondary explosions at specific targets now?

How come Americans can never develop these wonderful technologies? Just imagine what American soldiers could do with this technology in Iraq, and Afghanistan.

I dont buy any of the baloney from Israeli high command.

I believe the people that say the first projectile went into a civilian house.

But whatever, its a moot point. The Israelis go into Palestine looking for trouble and they find it.

Its unfortunate that the Palestinians didint have Anti-Air or a forward anti-tank position at the time.
