yeah, i guess so. but the doctors are being asses too. the self-serving always win, especially if they're elected into office.

Those are the top dogs, the admins, i'm pretty sure regular docs make much less than that.

They work hard. Well, wait. Most do. I'd a terrible experience with one who'd migrated from the US (fear of malpractice lawsuits), but that was one doctor, an exception to the rule. The GP I have now is awesome, I don't know where he gets the energy, it's like he's always working. Another not only maintains his office practice, after hours he travels round the Toronto area for house calls (it's a separate service [not sure, I think the province pays for it]). This man's an older gentleman.

The good news: in the medical building where my GP practices, there's a lot of literature supporting Canadian health care. It's good to see considering the political climate.

I've seen salaried docs in America and it isn't pretty to look at. They are the military docs.
