Putin rose to power on the back of Yeltsin and the Oligarchs to whom Yeltsin sold out the country.

Putin helped to frame the man put in by Yeltsin who was exposing the corruption of the Oligarchs and Yeltsin himself.

Putin then took on the same role and went after Yeltsin for selling out the country.

This is how to take your country back. Beat them in their own game, which we see Ron Paul doing today.

There is bias from an anti-Putin standpoint, but it is worth watching as it has a lot interesting stuff about Putin.

Shock Therapy paved the way for the Oligarchs that rule Russia today. Basically, the loans for shares program was set up so that the rich elites would provide loans to the Yeltsin regime in exchange for shares in Russia's most profitable industries. Shock Therapy, in theory stated that the rich elites would then rationalize and reinvest in their newfound business to improve the Russian economy. Instead they sold off all the valuable assets overseas and made off like bandits. They are now the ruling elite that fund the new party of Power, Unity and so forth.

Wait, so you think Putin is still working for the Oligarchs? Putin went after the Oligarchs and they all fled to London or Israel.

Thats how Putin got into power in the first place. I don't know about the current status of the oligarchs. Its probably mentioned in the videos but I don't have a soundcard.

Yes, he had the Oligarchs convinced he was on their side by framing one of their enemies, he was rewarded by being named prime minister and then he became president, then he surprised them by coming out as a nationalist.
