read a book called "Critical Care" for starters.
study the statistics of health outcomes as compared to %GDP paid out
if you really think we are saving money by not insuring all - you do not a very good understanding of how health care is paid for in this country.
the "safety net" in this country (such as it is) provides for emergency care for those who cannot pay - that means they can't turn you away from the emergency room if you're dying - who do you think pays for that care eventurally ??? you - through higher premiums. if we pay up front - for prevention, doctor visits instead of ER it is CHEAPER and has better outcomes. but it requires thinking proactively rather reactively - something very few people are good at (especially republicans)

Actually, there's far more fact on global warming than any other problem we face. There's next to no ambiguity that global warming is real and mostly human caused. Anyeone who told you otherwise lied.

yeah, much better to have a system where only the poor wait (and wait and wait and die waiting) for operations and the rich can get anything at the drop of a hat. much better to have a system where capitalism drives the development and incessant marketing of 3 (at least) ED drugs and no cure for orphan diseases. way better system.
