Iraq war vs. D-day

This is my first thread here but I have been in chat rooms where it was debated. How would today's people and media handle the occurences of D-day today where almost 6000 died in one day? Iraq seems like small potatoes compared to that. Think about it 6,000, sometimes whole families of siblings wiped out in one day.

Does it hurt, going through those contortions?

Or do you find that already having your head up your ass, makes it easier?

Well, you made it to 65 posts, before you were excused from class...

You don't think 6000 people were killed during "shock and awe"?
