Hardly surprising, but disgusting. Nonetheless.

Those business relationships are hardly ever disclosed to the viewers, and sometimes not even to the networks themselves. But collectively, the men on the plane and several dozen other military analysts represent more than 150 military contractors either as lobbyists, senior executives, board members or consultants. The companies include defense heavyweights, but also scores of smaller companies, all part of a vast assemblage of contractors scrambling for hundreds of billions in military business generated by the administration’s war on terror. It is a furious competition, one in which inside information and easy access to senior officials are highly prized.

Utterly sickening. These once patriotic men have been reduced to Pentagon pawns, profiting off the deaths of the men and women they once commanded.

I do hope this story is not censored before it gets to our troops. The need to know what shitheels these men are.

This is as clear an insight into just a part of the workings of the Military Industrial Complex. I am totally amazed that the New York Times would even publish it.

Yea I am to.......... They have often negated to print certain things... The sin of omission.........

Was this in the actual paper or just the online version...????

Props to them none the less for exposing this........ Hopefully it will do some good....

I read it in the online version. I believe it ran both Saturday and Sunday. Maybe 11 pages long.

Americans should be outraged about this.............

Imagine if CHavez or Putin had pulled this fucking stunt............
