Do you seriously believe a guy like Jonesy, who in all likelihood gets up in the morning around 10:00 AM will be in fit condition to join a rebel force modled on that of Fidel and Che's in the mid 1950s? It amazes me how so many people here are willing to run with the most ridiculous premise. Last week he was looking for a regular office type employer to let him work for free to see how it would "work out." I'm with Guest's suggestion about the SoCal burger chain that offers benefits.

It's not a question of knowing him personally, it's one of reading back if you have the time. Personally, I think he'd be the secret weapon of the ruling dictatorship that the rebels would try to overthrow, despite his own intentions. I'm picturing Woody Allen as Fielding Mellish in "Bananas".

Current job-structures are too rigid. They only pay based on a standard of quality and amount of time. It doesn't really reward quality or efficiency.

Couldn't it work like: The task is X, the pay is 10,000. Every minute you do not complete the task, 10 is deducted from the pay?

I guess mostly I like certain aspects of political science, like improving the system. But I don't like the campaigning-type stuff. Is it possible to work in government, doing something like improving the system without having to go through the 'politician' process?
