Hi
I do read your stuff, always an interesting take.

So I'm asking you to please take a few seconds to
use better spacing.

You know, separate the sentences, paragraphs etc.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but it would be much easier to follow your post - thanks
I am experiencing "techinical difficulties" on all fronts and appreciate your interest and constructive criticism. I'm working on the problem.

Again, you miss the mark. I'm not anti-war, I'm anti-stupid-wars. And Iraq is the biggest foreign policy blunder in the history of the United States. Also I'm not anti-violence. I would love to see cheney swinging on a rope. Hell I'd string him up myself given the chance, but unnecessary death pisses me off.

I remember when I was in Camp Pendleton years ago many marines had to help with the out of control California fires. Is the National Guard usually the ones that fight these fires? Do you think the Obama supporters would try to take advantage of what they think is a stretched National Guard force?
Yeah, but the funny thing is, those pissed-off Obama supporter that would be "rioting" are the ones with an abject fear and ignorance of firearms. Those of us who would quell the civil insurrection are quite the opposite. Kinda hard to "start the revolution" when you have legislated the very tools to do so out of your own hands, right? Sillyness. Your progressive ideas, and disenfranchised feelings are useless against 5.56mm full metal jacketed rounds. That's what's always confused me about the liberals hatred of guns. And that's why I've always felt much more libertarian in that aspect. Our founding fathers gave us this ability to defend against a corrupt government, and the most outspoken activists on this matter also advocate the disarmament of the populace,to ensure that the government they don't trust, or even like, will always be able to have their way with them. Don't you agree?

I certainly do. Liberals are dead wrong on gun control.

Agree completely. Bush should have proven to 'liberals' the complete need for the 2nd amendment.

I suppose liberals are liberals for all the wrong reasons. They want government to protect and provide for them, for they feel incapable of protecting and providing for themselves.

Liberals and Republicans have so stolen the various attempted third party platforms, stolen much of the centrist moderate ideology equally, and have pretty much whored out to corporations that they don't begin to resemble their own party of 20 years ago even.

So few of either label have the faintest clue about the origins or the purpose behind their party originally.

First of all, anyone that truly believes that there will actually be riots if Obama doesn't get the nomination is an IDIOT .

That being said, with your 'quell' comment, are you saying if there were a violent protest that you'd take that opportunity to start picking off your fellow Americans? Is that what you meant by
Those of us who would quell the civil insurrection?

I'm a liberal and I could give a damn about your guns. I've got a couple myself, left over from my father. They're down in the basement, probably rusting, I don't give a damn about them either. So there is no way I'm going to put out the effort to have a gun control argument here. It's just that I have to chuckle when I hear a gun owner proclaim that his gun protects him from a corrupt government. As if a modern day corrupt government would be coming after us with 1776 technology and all we have to do is get our rifles and meet down at the town hall at midnight....

Have you seen any of the technology they are using in Iraq? Armed drones, inferred night vision, laser guidance systems. Oh, but not even a
corrupt government would use those weapons on Americans, those weapons were built for terrorists!

Oh yeah, that 5.56mm full metal jacketed round gonna keep the government in line alright.
