The dem party has these "superdelegates" to insure the right outcome....... Regardless (almost) of how the ppl vote...... It is is complicated process but not all votes are equal & there is little argument that their votes mean much more than ours......

That seems a lot like our political situation.... They pay ppl to wait in line to get into the committee meetings open to the "public"............ They have all kinds of pacs, lobbies, paid junkets & many other money based ideas to get their views not only heard but acted upon.........

Compare that to the email you sent last week....... You one vote vs that kinda money.............

& it aint just the money either... Which they need lots of to get reelected.......

There seems like a full employment policy for those working & serving in the military industrial complex........ They move freely from gov to high positions in these military manufactures, & vis versa. Many of these ppl leave the corp to serve & return. One big happy family......

Resignation

On November 26, 2007, Lott announced that he would resign his Senate seat by the end of 2007.[2] According to CNN, his resignation was at least partly due to the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act, which forbids lawmakers from lobbying for two years after leaving office. Those who leave by the end of 2007 are covered by the previous law, which demands a wait of only one year.[1] In his resignation press conference, Lott said that the new law had no influence in his decision to resign.

Lott's resignation became effective at 11:30 p.m. on December 18, 2007.[1]

On January 7, 2008 it was announced that Lott and former Senator John Breaux of Louisiana, a Democrat, opened their lobbying firm about a block from the White House.[7]
