I was listening to a Gore Vidal interview & he talked on a lot about that moment....... How they played it up but that the real sadness was that it was Jeb................. The smart one, that was suppose to be president............ A small twist of fate & the idiot son slips on the crown............. & that it all hit the old man & he was overcome........

I can't say I blame him if my kid did what his has done....

Well I think that was really it.... Or @ least a big part of it, according to Vidal............. The idiot son fucked it all up. Made a huge mess out of all of it........

The handling of the war...... The cover up etc...... stupid............. Just stupid............ Would have been hard to do it worse...........

Bad press, pissed off everyone especially our allies.. Hell pops was known for working w/ them............ little georgie pissed on them........

He has been winging it most of the time. In way over his head. THus the royal cheney running the show behind the scenes......

They took two years to plan the invasion of Europe & the post war period.... georgie took less that sixty (60) days........ That is they started. Just started 60 days prior to the invasion...... Nothing worked out on the occupation muchless some type of marshall plan......


I agree w/ him it is not likely it could have been done stupider...... But hey he aint done yet.......
