Your response is demented and a mess. The article or opinion which was printed as an article in the newspaper was representative of the Jewish population of South Florida.

It is a big concern to them that Obama is the democratic nominee and many are threatening to back McCain.

They were protesting in the streets of Palm Beach County that Obama is NOT GOOD FOR ISRAEL. Why that should concern a man who is running for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES I do not know!!!!!

They are concerned about how Obama is going to fit Israel into his plans. They had no such concern with Hillary or McCain.
Jews know that Obama has favored Palestine and this is a big hole for him to dig out of before obtaining the Jewish vote. And if this fact is not enough to validate their concerns, there are all the other 'rumors' about his Muslim background...or are they rumors?

Jews may comprise a small minority of the US population, but of all smaller groups, the Jewish group is probably one that a president needs to have on their side. I don't believe in the flip-flopping and false-promises Obama tells everyone, but I think the Jews, just as all ethnic groups and races, have a right to express their concerns and have their elected representatives pay attention...

It can be assumed that most Americans today have acceptance and/or tolerance for the Jewish religion.

Can it be assumed that most Americans have acceptance and/or tolerance for the religion of Islam??

If we could remove the religious shroud from Israel and the Middle Eastern countries, how much difference would this make in these people finding some peaceful co-existence???

How about if we could remove the religious shroud/dogma from all countries?? What a day that would be...

Make sure you don't use those vegetarian dinosaurs! Insane-Bush once made this mistake saying he did not know there were different tribes; it's important to understand the facts before we do an unprovoked and preemptive dinosaur attack...

I think that's a fair assumption however, I don't feel this it to be the reason for America's strong support of Israel

Not much - I think it's more about perceived ethnic differences.

That would be a start a utopian society

Well, since he did not use the word "obliterate" that makes it all
better.

You bash a candidate and you don't even know if this is true or not?
