To date, not one of your posts has been persuasive as having been made by a neoconservative. I don't mean that you fail to sell neoconservatism...better and worse than you have failed to do that...I mean that you fail to sell yourself AS a neoconservative.

Which is interesting, and I'll tell you why.

I myself had an exchange with you on the point, on the Real Bill Maher Board, and you raise it again somewhere on this Board: that you are of the Employee Shuts Up And Does As Told mindset. Mindset. Set Mind.

We did not finish that conversation, in fact. You were going to get back to me. There's a lot to be said for loyal employees, no question. You were going to give some thought to whether you personally, knowing your Follow Orders Loyally code, would knowingly "get in bed" with a Bad Guy in the first place. If memory serves, we were pretty much at...If the price is Right, will you, infoseek, knowingly and willingly and loyally serve that which you know from the get-go to be Wrong?

That is a practical question. Witness Blackwater. Witness Alberto Gonzales. Today, in America, it is a reasonable and practical question: CAN YOU BE BOUGHT?

Here's a philosophical question: if you don't really know where you stand, is it easier or harder to convincingly pretend that you stand somewhere else?

I say this with peace in my heart...also confidence that, if push comes to shove, you're with the People...but you would do better, by yourself and by the People, to figure out where you really DO stand than to assume an adversarial role for sport.

We have less than a year to sweep George Bush and pretty much every Congressperson coming up for re-election to the curb...like the garbage that they are.

It has often been said that it is as big a shame when a young person is a conservative as it is when a older person is liberal. One would have to agree that as a person gains knowledge and experiences in life he becomes more and more conservative.
