The Idea of the gay Pride parade was actualy a rememberance of the Stonewall riots....however overtime have begun taking on a Mardi Gras feel. The sexual nature of the parade and half naked people with bright costumes and feathers....is directly copied from the Catholic Parade in New Orleans as well as other similer parades.

I was wondering
WHY
we NEED gay people to do our
make-overs
and
interior decorating.

WHY can't breeders get it together????

Then I realized that
gay people end up smarter
BECAUSE
they have to ask themselves
MANY
more questions

If you were to just read or hear about me, you may think I am a typical stereotype of a gay man. I am an artist, a theatre performer and tech, I sew, I make costumes clothes and drapery,,,,,however when guys meet me they never believe I am gay. One of my friends found out a few years ago. He thought people were trying to bad mouth me. He came up to me one day and said that friends of ours were saying that I was gay. I looked at him funny because i knew him for about two years and it never occurred to me that he didn't know. Everyone else did. He had a hard time believing it.

I just don't care much for stereotypes.....they never really pan out as expected.

The sex thing is not what it seems. All of the things we do, with our bodies, are merely methods of spreading our insides. Methods we have found, and we use because we don't know any better. You can spread your insides without them.

Maybe gays have backwards systems. The animals have these systems... the structure of two is present in their reproduction also. What matters is these systems are both active. If you achieve it with someone of your own gender, it is the same as achieving it with someone of the other.

Oh, come on. That is completely disingenuous. Please stop mischaracterizing people and assuming that they're bigots if they don't trip over themselves to rhetorically vouch for minority groups. All I was saying is that I'm not exactly going to go out of my way to pander to one particular interest group of people. I support human/individual rights (not exclusive ones for groups). Not to sound arrogant, but far more then anyone here, in fact.

The point is, I don't really care about what someone else's sexual preferances are. It does not effect me. I'm neutral and disinterested. While on one hand, I'm not going to go around "gay bashing" because I can really care less, neither am I going to shout off the rooftops how much I love gay people and try to pander to them. I'm no social conservative by any stretch of the imagination, but neither am I going to go to a gay pride parade.

What is it with theater, though? With one or two exceptions, most of the gay people I know (male and female) have studied theater.
