Vice President for McCain????

McCain was not my first choice to lead the Republican ticket. Having said that we conservatives can not allow Obama or Hillary to win. A Vice President choice could attract many voters out there that would not vote because they do not approve of McCain.

Four months ago I was thinking McCain would win and choose Lieberman as his vice president candidate. They are pretty much the same in their political views both being the middle of the road guys. I do not think that will cause conservatives to want to run out and vote, but I do feel it would attract many unsatisfied democrats and independents.

Other VP thoughts would be:

Colin Powell
Huckabee
Fred Thompson
Michael Bloomberg
Romney (I don't think he would)

There would be many more good ones. I am wanting to hear from the conservatives on who they feel would be best to beat the liberal democrats.

The potential VP that would pull the most liberal votes would be Ron Paul....I'm sure that's not the answer you wanted...but it's true

I think Ron Paul would run off more voters than he would bring in.

Nah...there is so much disillusionment with the R's from moderates and libertarians...Paul is the one candidate that they support universally...granted the neoconservative R's don't like him...but the Republicans already have their vote guaranteed anyways...they need to branch out and reach more voters...and a ticket with 2 identical candidates won't do a damn thing to affect that.

Lieberman would run off more voters than Paul is how I see it.

Well he/she will have to be delusional enough to believe McCain could win. That's a tall order. I'm thinking Rush. No wait.....not him.

Are you saying McCain is a mass murder because he was a Navy pilot in Vietnam?

It is odd that you would keep up with who the KKK endorses. Do you really care that much who they endorse?
