Rules about attacking republicans in this forum

This forum is for conservatives, everyone may participate in discussion here but starting negative/attack threads against McCain or republicans will not be allowed in here from now on. Members are welcome to do so in the GE forum but not here. All pro republican/McCain threads are welcome in here.

To be fair they should have their own section here to express themselves as those who oppose democrats.

I think the first two responders should be banned from the forum for asking to hard of questions..............

So it seems then that this forum will be strictly for the mcbush cheerleaders & republican faithful............. ( I guess both of them...)

I can already hear the crickets in here............

I have posted in this forum so as to ask or bring up a point exclusively w/ or of a conservative POV................

In the other forums they were lost amongst the many other threads...... This problem was compounded by the fact none of them are very prolific posters & the threads were buried..........

I understand the desire for a forum "for them"..........

I just don't see a conservative circle jerk happening any time soon...... Most seem far more interested in coming here & challenging what they perceive as "liberal" ideals & misconceptions........ HerO's coming here to free us from the bondages of an open mind & free will...

Well I think the dem party has to be thankful for bush2...... ( he has disenfranchised, insulted, chased off & scared off lots of ppl)

TO be frank I have not talked to repub in some time that can say they are happy the way these fools have done things..... Nary a one that can say they like him.......

I think after this huge blowout there will be some soul searching & some purging of the ranks..........

Hopefully, for their sake, they don't learn the wrong lesson here.....

That they need to stop running wackO's.......... Not that the wackO's they are running just aint wacky enough..........

as stated previously(and since you know me)I'm a registered independant when it comes to political affiliation,(and I always have been!)

when you first spoke about opening the Political Groove Website and inviting me to be a part of it, I was excited to see what would become of your creating a political site
(because I know other sites you have created and the majority of members at those sites were very objective, critical thinkers, treat members with respect without personal attacks and are generally good people) and all those members either lean to the left, right, or are independant

so I thought it would be interesting to see the threads posted at PG.

for instance the conspiracy forum is fascinating, I may not agree with the majority of what they say in their threads, but I still respect their opinion and their desire to share what they think is important for others to know, and mostly for me it's an interesting read

as I became more familiar with PG, unfortunately it quickly became apparent that a LARGE majority of the people invited to be members of this website are extreme in their views, and have agenda's, values, and beliefs far to the left of any independant thinker

not that the fact that someone leans to the left or right really matters to me, nor should it,

but IMHO members being extreme in their views is not a positive characteristic, and the way they treat other members reflects their extremism

obviously not everyone is going to agree with each other, but at least at your other sites there is certain necessary amount of respect that is demonstrated by each member

I RARELY see that here at the PG website !!

many members here do not show respect for other peoples views and consequently they choose to instead do personal attacks on people who don't agree with their agenda &/or opinions and many times their choice to do this is malicious and hateful

this became objectively obvious when your conservative forum was consistently abused with numerous threads attacking conservatives,

HA HA in a conservative forum,

so in a conservative forum where presumably conservatives should have an opportunity to voice their opinions, instead you have a bunch of far left extreme members posting conservative attacks and their far left agenda instead

many of the threads posted in the conservative forum, were a vehicle to attack conservatives and their views

why permit numerous members here to do personal attacks on other members?
Why is that condoned?

I'm glad Eric that your "trying" to give conservatives an opportunity and a venue to voice their opinions, values, etc

I have the opinion it may be too late though, because many of them have endured many personal attacks, and likely feel like they don't get a fair opportunity to express themselves,

so consequently they have chosen to leave the PG website

based on what I've objectively witnessed, I don't blame them, and I'm not surprised by them leaving
