Look. I have lots of doubts about Obama.
I give him credit where its due, but i'm not here to praise him, nor did I give Hillary a free pass.

I have probs with Mccain, if he wasn't so crazy about applying yet MORE sanctions against Iran, i might even support him.
But he's more dangerous, than Obama's naivite.

I do kinna like what I'm hearing from the republicans about getting more of our domestic natural gas/coal/oil reserves into play.

China is ready to slant drill of Fla's coast - and I'd much rather the drilling is done by the USA.

besides the talking points provided by the clinton and mccain campaigns, how on earth to do you think obama is naive? you do realise he's elected office longer than hillary and introduced and had passed more serious legislation than she had, not to mention that he has done so with bipartisan support...you do know all that stuff don't you?

you also know that you're falling for the red china fear right? china cannot slant drill into any u.s. territorial waters without our government's permission, paying levies and/or tariffs and any other number of concessions in order to do so...so if they're planning on doing it, then it's with the government's blessing...as for the u.s. drilling in the ocean, it will be 2010 before any measurable relief would be felt, if any at all, by the any of us...why are people so easily swayed by sound good rhetoric? like the gas tax holiday and everyone getting so excited of hillary's and mccain's proposal of it, as if they could do anything about it now like they said, yet people lapped it up like a bowl of chocolate milk...besides, they don't even know if there is anything left down there, yet you would rather guess at it not reap any benefits for a minimum of a few years and possibly destroy yet another ecosystem rather than spend all that time, energy and money on a plausible alternative that could have us off oil in a few years?
