What does is say about democrats when?

The person that is 4th in reputation points, 1st in top referrers, 3rd top poster is banned. I didn't even know Teri B. nor CosmicRocker who was the second top poster.

The democratic party always tears itself apart and this board appears to be a prime example.

I hope I don't get banned for making an honest observation.

I could be wrong but I think it was being suggested that wayers is dr. dog. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the Democratic party is not only divided but inept and the republican party is worse. I guess that's what happens when you have a one party system masquerading as a two party system.

The Democratic party is divided and inept, indeed.

George Bush is inept, to be sure. John Hundred Year McCain, talking to us like it's Romper Room and he's lulling us through his magic mirror, could be argued to be inept...at least as far as public speaking and flying planes goes.

But the Republican party is NOT divided, that's part of the problem. It is because so many Republicans still cling to failed policies and inferior people that Independents and Skeptics and Pragmatists can't identify the Lesser of Two Lessers.

But the Republican party is inept? I think not. I think that's also part of the problem.

In the face of the clusterfuck that has been the Bush Administration, while we remain mired in a war that no one cares about now that their pocketbooks are under siege, the Orator of the Century slash Harbinger of Change should have a commanding lead, yes? But that's not our story.

Inept is one of those words that lacks an organic opposite.

Incapable. Capable.

Inarticulate. Articulate.

Indefensible. Defensible.

Inept...ept? Not the Republicans, surely, for that would be reminiscent of a pregnancy test, and Republicans don't do sex. Publicly. Unless it's in the privacy of a public restroom.

Malign the Republicans til the cows come home, piss at the moon trying to make it more yellow, whatever, the Republicans are better at this game than the Democrats are.

Because they don't shoot their wad in the primaries, maybe? It is easy enough to say it's because they are conniving, dastardly, et al. But if they were as bad as all that and if it were as simple as all that, again, it suggests that the Democratic nominee would be the uncontested frontrunner.

One need not hope for change. Change comes, whether we like it or not. People DON'T like change, in point of fact. That is why they put shit off and put shit off and look the other way and overlook some more, until Big Change is required. They'll fight that, too.

There are only two things I need to know about Change. What changes, specifically not vaguely. And what are the price tags.

There are lots and lots of things that lots and lots of people want...we cannot afford them all.

Also, would you not feel more hopeful about change if, each time the opportunity to effectuate change materialized, the changlings stood up to the plate and effectuated the change? I would.

At one time early on in the Bush administration the Republican party held the Senate and Congress. After 9/11 we had sympathy from the entire world for the most part... hell even in Iran the people were holding candle light vigils. Now that's all gone seems inept to me. And now the possibility of losing the White House. They had everything and threw it away pretty quick don't you think.
