It's true. They both played the same game of tossing their opponents predictable "tough" questions but never following up by challenging the pat, talking-point answers they received in reply. Like Stewart said, it's theatre. It's a sad commentary on our media that the interviews on a comedy show are often more unpredictable and insightful than the interviews on a "news" channel.

Funny thing is that the "News" is not even good "theater", because good "theater" would have all the drama not just slanted propaganda.

Our example of slanted press was when the local newspaper, The Potomac News, published our names and address when we were arrested but had not been convicted. I expected that they would be interested in a story that might provide some "local drama", thought that I could get them to obtain the store video of the police assault - maybe I scared the cops, but no one knows because the authorities are corrupt and no longer follow "due process". The paper never responded to my letter, neither did the police chief or Mayor.

The press is just a mouthpiece for propaganda, not real news.

Forgot about our other experiences with the Press.

My girlfriend was a probono client of an attorney who deserted:

The Bar sent her files and dismissed her, so I wrote a letter to the Washington Post reporter who authored the articles. No response. To this day we do no know whether this attorney stole an out of court settlement from my girlfriend who had been at it for five years. Just how diligent was the Virginia State Bar ? Because my girlfriend was bankrupt she could not buy representation.

When one mentions something like this one can hear a pin drop, no response ..... certified mail gets lost.... silence. That was the Year of Bush.

In 2007 WTOP is editing contents of posts in their comments section to reinforce propaganda. I noticed that they had cut one of my posts in half.
