Stephen Colbert's Flight to Fame
In the short time that Colbert has been on the air the guy has obviously amassed a huge amount of popularity. First, when Jon said "Let's check in with Stephen" his audience went wild. Then when Stephen's show started the audience was screaming for what seemed to be a couple of minutes when he finally had to get up and run out to the audience to get them to sit. He has obviously become an icon and people seem to love him.

I still prefer the Daily Show over the Colbert Report [note that he pronounces the T's during the strike
] but Colbert's style will force the right winger pundits to rethink their whole schtick.

Agreed, the daily show is by far my favorite. Jon gives me all the comedy fix I need for the day and I record them all but if I happen to be on CC when Colbert is on I will usually watch it.

None. They're the holy trinity of satire.

Yeah I'd like to believe that, but right winger pundits are not of this world. I refuse to believe they are humans. Their whole agenda is to keep us running in circles arguing about stupid shit.
