No, it was more of a gradual thing. But it got so bad, I couldn't leave the house...That's when I went to see the specialist. Best thing I ever did, cause he solved alot of the problems I was having.

The good thing about vitamin C is you'll never be constipated again

After doing a little more digging on my stomach issue I found this link http://www.joyfullivingservices.com/hiatalhernia.html on Hiatal Hernia's

This is the first article I've read that really explains my symptoms in detail, especially the tightness in the middle chest and muscle spasms I've been getting. With no other explanations from all the tests, I am fairly certain this is what I have. The cool thing is there are very safe treatment options for it and I am going to try some of them out.

This was a big cause of my GERD problem...

Two words: esophageal endoscopy!

I eventually had surgery -- a laproscopic nissan fundoplication. It was life-changing, stopped the GERD cold, I've not been bothered once in years since waking up after. They repaired the hiatal hernia at the same time.

BTW, C.Rotegan is a Radiologist, certainly he is a very educated/intelligent guy...but he probablywould be the first to refer anyone to a internal medical doc.

I´m starting to have some stomach issues as well lately. Of course smoking doesn´t help much, especially early in the morning. But hey! 6 more days for another 3 day period of quitting, . Of course my father always fixed it with Rolaids. Anyway, stomach and mollars, two great pain-builders, I hope you´re doing fine.

probiotics

Probiotics have definately helped me down there.
I buy the Horizon (sp?) brand - the same folks who make the organic milks, make the orgainc probiotic yogurt.

I'm not picky about my diet, I'll damn well eat just about anything.
But for dairy products i stick with organics. Preferaly lactose free.
No antibiotics or hormones in the feed
