I am quite close to deciding Menopause is worse than quitting smoking.

I ordered a bathing suit from Victoria's Secret. I thought I would be circumspect and order an one piece.

When I called to do a phone return, I told the gal on the other end of the line I figured out that menopause had been more cruel than my glances in the mirror had revealed.

I made her laugh quite heartily. It's good to laugh at one's self. It keeps away the tears. Of course if one wants to do both, hysteria is an option.

I have gained 25 lbs. I thought I could start exercising again. I've been feeling stronger. Silly me, what do I do--I start bleeding again.

The Doctor gave me more Aygestin. I was supposed to call today if it didn't stop on this lovely day 13. I hemorrhaged a bit this morning (just love those clumps of gore) then it stopped...completely so far...just like that....

Whew!

Yay for me!

I ordered a new Tai Bo kick boxing kit from Gaiam. I love ordering new exercise shit. When hubby complains, I threaten him with a Health Club membership!

This 25lbs has got to go. My ass is asking for a zip code. I have a stomache--not just a belly--a whole bonified stomache one can actually take hold of in one's hands. It's horrifying!

I have had my hair in a ponytail twice this week. This means only one thing. It is time to cut it the fuck off! I already have the appointment for tomorrow. The first thing that looks like shit on me when I'm running on empty is my hair. It is better to have none. Zip Zilch Nada......

Actually I'm gonna do this:

I kinda like it. And, I like Ashley Judd. Maybe she'll even let me borrow her smile once in a while. She makes me smile. She's got such a great face and smile and I loved her in "Where the Heart Is"

Best quote: "Life changes with every breath we take."

Indeed it does.

I know what you mean about your hair. I'm so sick of mine, I could scream. But see, I have a big head. I'm not talking about ego, I mean I have a large head. Hats are uncomfortable, unless they have that little plastic adjustment in back. With short hair, I look like a bobble head.

So...I have ordered this petite pouf clip-on thing from HSN. I thought when I get hot or am working in the kitchen, I can pull my hair back and clip on this thing to add some volume to balance out my big head.

Anyway, I love Ashley Judd, and love her hairstyle in that picture. Go for it. You'll look adorable.
